About

Tillforty provides various AI-driven solutions designed to streamline document parsing and transformation processes.

XML (ISO 20022) is a widely accepted standard for electronic data interchange in the financial industry, providing a structured and machine-readable format.

Take a look at a sample.

How it works?

1. Submit PDF Bank Statement

2. Processing Steps

  • Bank Identification: Determine the bank associated with the PDF.

  • Text Extraction: Extract transaction details (dates, descriptions, amounts, balances).

  • Data Structuring: Organize extracted data into recognized sections.

  • XML Generation: Assemble data into an ISO 20022-compliant XML.

3. Job Completion

Getting API access

To access our services and the API, you must have a signed contract with Tillforty, including a data processing agreement. You can contact our Sales Team to request a demo and pricing details. Once all paperwork is done, you will receive access to Insight to configure your Tillforty account and take full advantage of our API.

We will provide an Access Token for each customer manually.

Glossary

Term
Description

Command

A request sent to Tillforty's systems to carry out a specific operation.

Session

An interaction session between Tillforty, the end-user, and the bank. It starts when the user selects their bank in the Widget and ends when data import is completed or interrupted.

Target

A technical identifier for a Tillforty-to-bank connection. It may indicate the connection type or specific banking system used. Multiple targets can exist for one bank, handling different audiences or systems.

Institution

A technical identifier for a group of targets using the same banking system for data fetching. Although multiple target types might exist within an institution, only one should be available to end-users in production. This grouping makes it easier to switch between PSD2 and fallback targets. Multiple institutions (e.g., for individual and corporate clients) might be enabled for one bank.

User, end-user, owner, PSU

The owner of the imported accounts is usually the user who authorized access to the account.

PSD2 target, Open Banking target

A target that uses a PSD2-based connection to a bank via a dedicated API interface according to PSD2 regulations.

Fallback target

A target that uses an alternative connection to the PSD2 API is typically enabled when the API is not working properly. It usually employs screen-scraping methods to extract data.

TPP

A company licensed to perform one or more PSD2-based services, such as Account Information Service, Payment Initiation Service, and Confirmation of the Availability of Funds.

AISP

A TPP licensed to provide Account Information Services.

Beta

An indicator for targets or features that have been recently introduced and have not yet been proven fully stable in the production environment.
